Scandi Girl OOTD - Copenhagen Fashion Week
I wish to attend the next season of Copenhagen Fashion Week!

In the meantime, I’m happily scanning all the news on my feed and watching the live broadcasting of several runway shows, pretending I am in the front row.

Copenhagen Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026 has once again proven that the Danish capital is not just a style destination—it’s a cultural force reshaping the global fashion narrative. With its signature blend of minimalism, sustainability, and streetwise edge, this season’s showcase was a masterclass in how fashion can be both forward-thinking and deeply rooted in place. From the runways to the sidewalks, the week pulsed with a quiet confidence, offering a fresh take on what it means to dress with intention.

One of the most unexpected trends to emerge was the resurgence of statement headwear. From oversized straw hats to sculptural silk turbans, designers embraced the head as a canvas for storytelling.

Love collecting scarves? This is the time to flaunt them all and have a standout moment.

Linen blazers paired with ruched organza skirts are back with mesh overlays. The monochrome looks were anything but flat, thanks to clever use of pleating, quilting, and embroidery.

Beyond the runways, the sidewalks of Copenhagen became a living mood board. As documented by Elle and Grazia, the street style was a vibrant mix of vintage finds, gender-fluid silhouettes, and dopamine dressing.

Attendees embraced bold color blocking, oversized suiting, and utilitarian accessories, reflecting a collective desire for self-expression and comfort.

Perhaps the most forward-thinking trend was the rise of modular dressing—garments designed to be worn in multiple ways, adapted to different contexts and seasons. This concept aligns with Copenhagen’s sustainability goals and reflects a broader shift toward conscious consumption.

Silhouettes were fluid and transformative: wrap skirts that doubled as scarves, jackets with removable panels, and dresses that could be styled as tops. Fashion invites play and personalization, empowering wearers to become co-creators.

However, since I’m here in the southern hemisphere, I’m celebrating CPHFW with this look.
