There are plenty of Christmas events in Orlando, but one of the first ones that appear in mid-November every year is the Festival of Trees at the Orlando Museum of Art.

With the intent to raise funds for the Museum and educational programs, the Council of 101 put together this must-visit Christmas Event in Orlando. An event that I absolutely love going to every year. So if you find yourself in Orlando, from November 16 through November 24, 2024, check out this event!

Festival of Trees: A Must-Visit Christmas Event in Orlando

Every year the trees, wreaths, and gingerbread houses are all different, and while this is my third time going to this event, it has become a tradition for me to go. With over 50 beautifully decorated trees and wreaths, plus an enchanting display of gingerbread houses, the Festival of Trees is worth exploring. From a Barbie Christmas Tree to an Adam’s Family Gingerbread House, these are just a few I’ve seen in the past.

This year, however, I saw even more amazing decorations such as a Grinchmas Tree, a Chocolate Lovers Wreath, and more! In addition to the trees, wreaths, and gingerbread houses, the Festival of Trees also has pop-up shops, raffles for holiday-inspired tabletop displays as well as various special events.

Special Events

The Festival of Trees is a special Christmas event on its own, but if you’re looking for even more fun, there are various special events throughout this 10-day fundraising event. Kicking off the Festival of Trees is the Opening Night TreeView Party, and then afterward are all the fun family-friendly events such as Breakfast with Santa, a Children’s Reindeer Romp Party, and a Silent Disco Party.

Breakfast with Santa for Children

This starts early morning on November 16, 17, and 23rd from 8-10 a.m. Kids will get to enjoy time with Santa as well as face painting, crafts, and more. You’ll also get access to the Festival of Trees before it opens to the public.

Reindeer Romp

Another Family-Friendly Event that allows you to meet Santa Claus and have story time with Mrs. Claus. There will also be stilt walkers, balloon artists, and more.

Silent Disco Jam Party

If you haven’t heard of silent disco, then you need to check this out! The ticket includes wireless headphones to groove to three live DJs. What better way to enjoy the Festival of Trees than to dance the night away? The event includes light bites, desserts, and coffee for purchase, and starts at 8 PM on November 23rd.

For more information on the special events, check out Orlando Museum of Art’s website or you can also find the information on Instagram.
